A Wix website couldn't hold a festival of this scale. We rebuilt everything: CMS architecture, automated data pipeline, and GSAP animations that kept the atmosphere alive on every page.
Strategy
This wasn't a redesign but a structural rebuild. Artists, stages, editions and programs had to be interconnected before opening Figma. Built to grow without developer involvement.
A Python pipeline using Google Sheets and Cloudinary handled the full data migration from Wix. Every asset arrived already optimised and correctly mapped.
20 poster layers animated with GSAP on mobile could destroy performance. Asset conversion, lazy loading, and mobile rendering kept atmosphere intact and Core Web Vitals clean.
Design
Sticky position opens with a full video, transitions to the layered poster, then reveals content. A pacing that mirrors the festival atmosphere before a word is read.
Poster artwork and brand guidelines came from another designer. The job was carrying that energy consistently across every page, making each section feel like the same world.
Every GSAP animation reinforces immersion, not technique. Layered poster elements and scroll-driven reveals feel like part of the experience rather than interactions placed on top.
